Apprenticeships & Students
We have various apprentices and students working within our organisation. Apprenticeships offer individuals the opportunity to complement working, with academic learning. While working they will develop relevant skills and learning by being involved with all aspects of patient care, under appropriate supervision, and progress towards obtaining a recognised qualification.
Hosting healthcare students in primary care settings has several benefits. It improves staff retention, enhances critical thinking across the team, and brings diversity and varied skill sets. Students participate in workforce development and education. Students can assist in specific tasks, such as examinations, dressings, blood pressure measurements, urinalysis, and weight checks etc.
At any time our team supports; GP registrars, Physician Associate Apprentices, Pharmacy Apprentices, Healthcare Apprentices, Trainee Nurse Associates, Allied Health Professions Students and many other roles.
