This will help us to be more efficient by making an appointment available to you when you need it the most.

Pharmacy & Self-Care

Pharmacy

Pharmacists are qualified healthcare professionals who can offer clinical advice, over the counter medicines to effectively and safely manage a range of minor health concerns. They can also help you to decide whether you'll need to see a doctor. You don't need an appointment and you won't even be asked to make a purchase. Every pharmacy also has a private consultation area for you to talk about your symptoms in private if you prefer.

Sickness Certificates (Fit Notes)

Home Visits

Please be aware our GPs, or another appropriately trained member of the clinical team, will always call to assess a home visit request before arranging it.

If you need a home visit, you can help us by calling reception before 11am.

While we encourage patients to attend the surgery where we have the necessary equipment and facilities, we understand that this may not always be possible.

Home visits can only be requested if you are housebound or too unwell to visit the practice. The clinician will determine and assess the urgency of the request and the most appropriate health professional to undertake the visit, which in some cases, may be a community nurse or health visitor. Alternatively the clinician may refer you to another appropriate service.
